I’ve always had a passion for photography. I love taking photographs, and I have album-loads and CD-loads of photos from family gatherings, events and my travels. I shoot anything from people, objects to scenery, but I like photographing people best and capturing their expressions.

The idea of doing natural expression photography for families, children and babies has been brewing for a while but I was too busy to pursue it with a full-time job in hand and with just no inspiration to do anything about it. InspiredbyGavin was “born” when I recently had my first baby, Gavin. When he was about 3 months old I had to make the decision to return (or not!) to my working-late-hours, constantly-travelling, high-flying management /IT consulting job. I was (and am!) so inspired by the baby and motherhood that I decided to leave the corporate world to spend time with my baby, to be with him as he grows…

And so this renewed interest and inspiration in photographing people. Personally I cannot stop taking pictures of my baby – I’ll share some of that here – I just want to capture every moment of him growing up. And that’s how this venture came about, if you share the same passion of capturing pictures of your children with you as they grow through life’s different stages, then join me in my journey into natural expression photography and I could try help you capture these moments.
